The Prairie Dog Central is delighted to welcome onboard all of the special and much loved grandparents out there. September 8th marks the official Grandparents Day, and we can’t wait to help you celebrate. Join us onboard as we make our way from the hustle and bustle of the city to the rural community of Grosse Isle. Tap your toes or take part in an old-fashioned singsong as Ian the Musician makes his way through the train. Pick up a freshly prepared hotdog or smokie or bring along your own home-prepared lunch. Leave some room for dessert and indulge in some home baked goodies or a hand scooped ice cream cone. Stop by the welcoming vendors who sell their handmade items and take time to walk through the beautifully restored heritage buildings. Grab a seat and enjoy more live music before we head home. During the return trip there will be a treat for all grandparents onboard.
