Arrive early so you can join us and as we appreciate the time and workmanship that has been invested in the restoration and maintenance of the vintage vehicles on display at Inkster Junction Station. As we make our way to Grosse Isle look out for the vintage vehicles as they follow us up the track, ready to join us during the stopover. The volunteers at Grosse Isle offer hotdogs, smokies, chips, drinks, ice cream, pies and much more. Take a closer look at the vehicles and take time to listen to the presentation by CASARA (Canadian Air Search and Rescue Association) as they talk about their equipment and past missions. Finally, stroll through the 1886 homestead, the one room schoolhouse and the Grosse Isle United Church. This is a truly unique way to begin your long weekend.
