It’s the Prairie Dog Central’s season opener and today it’s all about Mom! Treat your Mom to a special day as we make our way from Inkster Junction Station to the rural community of Grosse Isle. Kick back and enjoy our onboard entertainment as we leisurely make our way up the line, through the awakening prairie. During the stopover, visit the beautifully restored Ridgeway Heritage House, stroll through the East Rosser One Room School or take a moment in the church. Friendly vendors will be selling their hand-crafted souvenirs, hot dogs and smokies, refreshments, ice cream and fresh baking. More live entertainment featuring Ian the Musician who will wrap up our day before we head home. Mom will appreciate this relaxing day surrounded by those most important to her.
