Hop onboard and join us for a slow-paced trip from Inkster Junction Station to the beautiful community of Grosse Isle, visit with family and friends as we make our way up the line. Enjoy live onboard entertainment by Prairie Dog Central favourites Ian the usician. On arrival in Grosse Isle the volunteers will serve freshly prepared sandwiches, Caesar salad, chips and small dessert plus a drink. Take time to stroll through the 1886 Heritage House, the 1 room schoolhouse and the Grosse Isle United Church before we make our way back to the city. This weekday picnic is ideal for larger groups and family gatherings.
Departure – 11:00 AM and Return – 2:45 PM
