Join us as our onboard historian talks about Canadian railroading as it was over 100 years ago. Enjoy the beauty of the open prairie landscapes while the Prairie Dog Central's onboard volunteer shares stories of how steam locomotive No. 3 and our vintage passenger coaches played a fundamental role in the development of the Canada we know and love. Bring along your home-prepared lunch or indulge in a freshly prepared hotdog or smokie during the stopover. Make sure you leave space for the delicious made-from-scratch home baked pies or an or a freshly scooped ice cream cone. Take a walk through the cab of No. 3 and stroll through the beautifully restored Heritage House, the East Rosser School and the Grosse Isle United Church.
