It’s been 145 years since Canada became a self-governing dominion of Great Britain made up of a federation of four provinces. Commemorate this special day with a trip aboard the Prairie Dog Central, Canada’s oldest regularly scheduled operating vintage steam locomotive. Enjoy the beautiful prairies in full bloom as we gently make our way to the charming community of Grosse Isle. During the stopover, wander around the newly renovated Heritage House, purchase the goodies freshly prepared by the vendors or unwind with live music by Fire and Ice.
